The dragonball z comparison is getting VERY old, since It's purely something the fanboys started, but now there's an awesome sprite movie and hand drawn movie series so I guess hopefully at last that comparison can be put to rest... bah I miss the old categories system for reviewing movies on here it would mean I need to write less. Rtil might have a point about the tracing in places, but he's kidding himself if he thinks you traced the whole thing, but it puzzled me how the main characters seemed more detailed then almost anything else in the whole movie. This is simply a fanboy crowd pleaser movie, it does very little that's new, looks good doing it but you lose points because I dunno where the made from scratch animation ends and the tracings begin.

OMG! @_@

I saw one of your first movies back with bebop way back, hell you even reviewed one of mine on DA more recently and I only just put 2 and 2 together that you're the same person?! Wow I'm slow XD Seriously though random humour always goes down a riot on newgrounds and you completely nailed it. I have nothing more to say other people arn't going to mirror in their reviews.

Huzzah for a small world! What's your DA sn?

I'm glad you liked the animation and my coolest respect for busting out with your detective skills. > : D

it's funny because I have no idea what's going on

Sounds like something homer would say and I wouldn't be surprised if it's the thinking behind over half the reviews. As is normally the case with you mr Firth you have Iconic refreshing artwork, but also a garbage drug enduced storyline...

=/ ok....

Personally I have mixed feelings about the clock crew, but for anyone looking for near enough everything the clockcrew is about in shorts form look no further then this movie

what the fu.. XD

It has to be said many many many movies using existing characters like this are cop outs to pop culture jokes, but that's more down to people not giving new characters as much of a chance then the quality of the movie. But no matter which way you look at it this movie is well made that can't be denied, there was a few odd moments where I honestly thought you were foreign with how you pronounced your lines but it was otherwise good and even had moments where I had no idea how you made some effects.

P.S. It's pulp fiction NOT black eyed peas newbs... they ripped that shit off... where did you find a lyrics free version from anyway? Raving Rabbids?

CARTER! meh...

Short, semi sweet, but nothing special. I give you credit for taking the time to mask and draw outlines around the characters, but you can barely even call this an animutation, even your tweening (dead spinning elephant) was sloppy... if you want to rotate tween more then one thing on the same motion like that then group that shit together geese... that's basic stuff >.>

You're kinda funny, but for someone with over 30 flash movies on here that's pretty damn poor animating... newgrounds loves comedians but what it doesn't need is another coolboyman before he got some fame

More then I exspected...

YAY! Finally someone who ISN'T an idiot making the Dragonball Z / Sonic comparison, anyone who really knows the 2 franchises well knows that's not an accurate comparison, that and the sonic storyline is turning to a steaming pile of crap thanks to Sega but onto the review...

This reminded me of the sonic comics I used to read as a kid, in terms of the story style. Apart from the uninspired way Robotnik (not eggman... scrubs...) catches Sonic this was well written and true to how they would act imo. Not an amazing movie but still worth viewing for any Sonic fans. Thanks for making this the nostalgia has made me want to get out of my creative rut even more XD

well this is random o_O

yep it's your old standard collection format here coolboyman, although looking a bit stale now as I'm sure you know. I'd make better comment, but the movies all follow a similar format so it's pretty much repeating myself. Good luck on that big project of yours, I'm looking forward to seeing you make something again that's praised based on the effort you put in not because you invented strawberry clock >.>

not bad...

I'm trying to figure out if I've seen your work before since you changed accounts. The irony of a lot of the elitists here is although they hate the anime style, this is the main style even companies put money into thinking it will sell if it's put on TV. They have a point that it's overused, but their point ends there, and if the only animes they've seen is either westernized versions of dragonball Z, pokemon, naruto and/or yugioh then they're in no position to comment since those edits are barely even bog standard animes at the tip of the iceberg so to speak.

Getting onto the review this was an interesting mix of romance present and future with a little fantasy thrown in (sup shape shifting kitsune? o_O) I understood why you did that since you wanted to keep the light hearted theme going, but as you already know by now the only thing people on the internet seem to fear/hate more then gays is anything resembling furrys or yiffing, which I'm going to assume was not your intention.

All in all I call this a just above average movie, it has a unique opening scene and decent enough style but besides the love triangle problem, I've seen this "epic quest to reach his lover" style thing done quite a few times before

o rly?

Well what can you say really? With the foundations laid by the previous movie, like many artists before you there was the chance you could make a crap movie and people would still love it due to your past glories. I'm just glad that wasn't the case! The animation was fairly fluid although the explosion noise was abused too much, it's hard to review dads movies well since they're just so random, but on the technical side of things I could find few flaws for this style

Former Top 50 newgrounds reviewer. I'm a 'Shadow Artist' ex hardcore gamer English Wiseass. I've done some newbish things in the past, but frankly who hasn't? Unemployed again deciding what to do next to be honest...
