[You Love This Movie]

good but feels lacking somehow

I'm not sure about this movie to be honest, but it's at least a 3 out of 5 though so you don't need to worry about that XD I lol'd at the killing spree since I think it's one of the few times I've seen a flash movie with a killing spree with a clear motivation behind it, rather then just for the sake of it ( while we're on the subject WHY is blockhead considered funny? He just strings random words together most of the time).

It was a good story idea, but something about it just didn't work, maybe the animation needed more detail or more work on the script or something. All in all stick with this kind of style, keep doing your best and I guess improvements are bound to happen in time.

first let me start by saying i apologize to newgrounds for my charlie the unicorn review which was pretty much completely wrong. as for this movie... ugh... you most likely ripped the unicorns straight from the original and the rest to be frank looks pretty thrown together.

It's just a standard issue no brainer violent rampage movie with a unicorn theme, these kind of movies always make me feel like I'm watching someone who's played a videogame to death and knows it near perfectly, which trust me is boring when it does nothing I haven't seen 10+ times before like this movie >.>

an indifferent experience

I'm a little undecided on this one, I see where the big fans are coming from though in their disappointment. since your humble beginnings the xombie world has changed quite a lot, but it's not even to make the story more endearing oh hells no... it's to make it more marketable to the mortal kombat, demonic and other gothic superhero lovers out there.

We don't want another Blade, Dante or Vanhelsing, we want something deeper like you first planned, which raises questions like what makes us human, not some chosen one reference garbage you threw in at the end, which I'm sure you pay far more reference to in this comic book of yours I'm sure you're concentrating on now.

P.S. please tell me that wasn't linkin park at the end... jesus the only way you could be more predictable would be if you used something by Marilin Manson! True a guys gotta make a living but you're better then this and it was what made you stand out of the crowd to begin with

I don't fully understand the 'more then one person worked on this when they clearly didn't' trick but I do know it's one of the oldest tricks in the book and that you 2 are probably from the kitty krew... what exactly makes you guys better then the other groups again? Anyway enjoy your 5 minutes of fame before fading into obscurity unless you're willing to ACTUALLY PUT IN EFFORT next time

Mike and Andy Parker's humour is pretty random sometimes it's top notch and other times it just plain sucks, fortunately this was somewhere in about the middle of the scale. The backgrounds you used were top notch for the scenes but there was a few continuity problems for example Mortal Kombat goro 1980s? LMAO Yeah right someone didn't research very hard... I guess the main criticism here was that you wasn't very consistent with your choices of games in terms of time of release you just seemed to pick the games you knew about to be able to mock easy. Not bad but next time you wanna mock games pick a stronger theme then "the games I played a kid" >.>

Whats wrong with mocking games I played? Would you rather I mocked games I've never played?

As for picking games that are easy to mock...how many other Ecco The Dolphin or Double Dribble references do you see in flashes?

Psycosis91 made this? Well no wonder it's on the frontpage... It has to be said sprite movies and hiphop have a lot to answer for in particular the latter. That aside however as a movie concept this is great, but something just doesn't feel right about it, I could easily say because it has Vega talking crap even for him in hiphop style but that's the whole point.

I guess the real problem is this just seems to be lacking any real polish to it I guess which isn't like you at all, with the exception of the effects at the start and the end of the movie it's as if this is one of your newer movies or something.

Just because you got a little fame now that's no excuse to get lazy on some of the projects because people will love it anyway since they're fans, it ticks me off when flash artists do that and this is no exception.

Wow I'm slow XD Seriously though random humour always goes down a riot on newgrounds and you completely nailed it. I have nothing more to say other people arn't going to mirror in their reviews.

I'm trying to figure out if I've seen your work before since you changed accounts. The irony of a lot of the elitists here is although they hate the anime style, this is the main style even companies put money into thinking it will sell if it's put on TV. They have a point that it's overused, but their point ends there, and if the only animes they've seen is either westernized versions of dragonball Z, pokemon, naruto and/or yugioh then they're in no position to comment since those edits are barely even bog standard animes at the tip of the iceberg so to speak.

Getting onto the review this was an interesting mix of romance present and future with a little fantasy thrown in (sup shape shifting kitsune? o_O) I understood why you did that since you wanted to keep the light hearted theme going, but as you already know by now the only thing people on the internet seem to fear/hate more then gays is anything resembling furrys or yiffing, which I'm going to assume was not your intention.

All in all I call this a just above average movie, it has a unique opening scene and decent enough style but besides the love triangle problem, I've seen this "epic quest to reach his lover" style thing done quite a few times before

Ironic how you say the star syndicates dead to you yet here you've thrown a half assed movie together in an almost IDENTICAL STYLE to them! For anyone reading this as with many SS movies the entertainment lies in the movie reviews not the movie itself... that is if the users after whistle points haven't already removed the funny reviews >.>

Sweet someone else in Essex who isn't another generic essex boy! *salutes* sure the elitists will call this unoriginal, but frankly that's one of the easyist ways to make a cult hit especially on the internets. Keep it parody style, keep it funny and keep the animation to that standard and I don't know any reason this should fail.
