Curious...

Again I think this was a case of seeing about 90% of the content for this before this was even finished. Still funny but I dunno it felt short I guess imo, but with the rumours going around of other equally high quality sonic collabs going on, I guess I can let it slide.

On the fence with this one

This flash is your typical newgrounds stuff, genuine humour 1 minute and wtfs the rest of the time. It's a good idea, using peoples reviews as inspiration the problem here is keeping context. Giving you a 5 because I can't decide what to do with all that flash copypasta you did. You can't tell me none of those drawings were copied from other flash movies.

If originality is this important, be sure to throw away any hip-hop cd's or family guy dvds into the garbage. sorry.

Rookie flash makers take note, this is how you make a parody of someone else without looking like an asshole. I'm guessing you came up with the voices first then everything just flowed from there, awesomeness.

This was the epitome of video game in joke humour. animation was reasonable enough, I got a chuckle out of it, but people who've never played the game before will barely follow what's going on xP

This beat the sf flash collab eh?

Something about streetfigther doesn't seem as mainstream as other games I've seen made collabs of, but I'm saying no names =P

Beating fanboys with an award like this under your belt though, made it more then worth checking out your movie. I'm glad this got the highest award, the reason is now it's given it more public attention, it's hard to explain it's one of those kind of movies that would normally fade into obscurity even though it's good, because it's an original story, not something people would look on the internet for.

The textures gave the animation an extra depth to the style, sure it's surreal and sometimes basic looking, but you pulled off one of the hardest things to do in animation, tell a story without a single line of dialoge.

No offence, but unless you knew one of the sponsors personally this was never going to be sponsored, lets just say they don't have the same everything by everyone beliefs as newgrounds, but hey! Now I will bet money at least 1 website will steal this now it's been in the top 5! How's that for irony?

You got skills I won't deny that, personally I just don't find this kind of style creepy or funny any more, the ending actually felt like a cop out imo. The main humour probably would have come from how you handled the epic eggman battle... hey there's an idea... sequal?

Funny thing is making the animations more of a random free for all of artists actually made it have more in common with the hater movies like the new dick series. It's not a totally bad movie, it just shows that much more varied skill level that comes with different people working on it, best jokes imo were bowser dissing peach and of couse ze fanmails.
