meh...

MARKSMEN is definatly the word here since you can take out everything except maybe the bosses with the sniper rifle. It's clear you were aiming for fps style which would require some god like programming in order to work in flash but because no such coding exists yet it meant your game was a kind of on rails shooting gallery.

THE GOOD

sniper rifle is your friend and is probably the most impressive thing in the game

able to move far right or far left for cover fps style

THE BAD

the only real strategy to this game I've already listed

the night and day thing is annoying and too fast x.x

zombies with guns? cliche much?

why is there 2 health bars when you only ever use 1 character? Is he like your second life or something?

I'm sure I can list more thing but am too lazy right now XP

Godlimations responds:

Great comment! The 2 health bars mean that there are 2 characters, hence the name "MarksMEN". So yeah, you got 2 lives...

cheers

ho ho... OMG x.x

If ever there was a flash game made for tablet pens or the Wii this is it, although warning for anyone who doesn't use their tablet a lot it's VERY easy to get rsi from this, which made me extra thankful you added a pause button feature x.x only possible criticism I have for this is it possibly needs more music and the Z shape is possibly too strict and was often what got me into the most hairy situations, or maybe I just suck as Z's *shrugs* nonetheless definitely frontpage material.

what the heck? x.x

For someone who's pretty good at minesweeper I thought i would breeze through this, HOW WRONG I WAS! To say the least i was embarrassingly awful at the start... ugh there goes my gamer reputation x.x, I don't know what it is about this game, maybe it tests your brain in a different way to most puzzle games or something. Can't comment on the lag problem people mentioned since that's more of a low spec PC thing and can't comment on the ending since it would take me too long to get there x.x

needs more work...

Despite the basic graphics, charging up to the enemies to slash off their head is way more satisfying then most of the other methods to kill them, however because as far as I can tell it's a survival game it's not wise to try it! You'll die much faster if you do, so you end up just playing keepaway herding them together then blasting them with throwing stars the whole time. Not bad game but it needs more work to stop it being a shoot em up in disguise.

pretty good...

Seems to have some kind of weird lag problem at times, the choice of music imo for some reason really adds to the effect but that could be because it's ParagonX9's work x.x The game could be really addictive if it wasn't for some keys flaws. The worst flaw being the maps are completely randomly generated (the only definite factor being the bombs WILL get further and further apart) so although some skill is involved, you're really down to the mercy of luck of powerups and cars interfering.

Good in places bad in others...

As a concept it's a good idea, but what lets it down is barely any explanation of what the upgrades do (cooker cooks faster? freezer keeps stock longer? barrier keeps customers longer? lights attract more people? but all that's purely me guessing)
and most importantly of all... NO CLUES ON HOW TO PLEASE THE CUSTOMERS! Obviously it has something to do with the ingredients, but come on you can do better then either 'happy' or 'sad'... you have no way of knowing if you're even close to what they want -_-

ok i guess...

Stopped at the end of wave 20, since tbh it's one of those endurance games with no ending. If your computer doesn't lag like crazy by this point newgrounders I recommend it as a good place to consider it as completing the game, because once you have a group of the best guns you're pretty much untouchable (move the mouse cursor around the planet shooting and you'll see what I mean). Can't fault anything on the coding side of things, but gameplay needs tweaking for replayability because somehow i doubt i'll be playing this again...

5... 6... 7.. >.>

Finished without dying with a final score 161785 but why the numbers in the title you ask? Because they're the only weapons you need most of the time. It's not much of a choose your weapon game when you have little choice of what weapon you can choose unless you want to die and of all the enemies to make near invincible why baseball head?! Surely it would make more sense to have done something like that with armour head of something. Concept is pretty solid, but it plays like you only made a bug check at the end rather then tweaked the game to play at it's best

lawls

Silly style but that's exactly the problem here it's style over substance. The attacks are so random you're never totally sure if you're going to get the hit out before they do and considering you get knocked back every time you get hit it's easy to get corner raped or pushed all the way to the boss with a near invincible angry mob not far behind, all you can do is jumping attacks and prey you'll somehow survive it. Style is awesome for the lolz but the gameplay needs work...

so so I guess...

I remember playing the earlier versions of these this version comes across like the master levels edition or something. For some reason I can't help comparing this game to the original rayman, which although it's a thriving franchise now the original had the problem this has of being too hard for kids and too boring for adults. It's hard to really rate this since this is really only designed for the previous fans and pretty brutal for everyone else, but the fact you're on the 3rd game and still haven't fixed the way he can glitch catching the side of a ledge or the way everything blurs a little as he moves strikes me as a little lazy. You could call the blurring a special effect, but when the game sprites are that small to begin with what possible good does including that have?

Former Top 50 newgrounds reviewer. I'm a 'Shadow Artist' ex hardcore gamer English Wiseass. I've done some newbish things in the past, but frankly who hasn't? Unemployed again deciding what to do next to be honest...
