[String Avoider]

decent coding... but anything but perfect

It's EXTREMELY annoying when the string is stuck together and you don't have the room to spread it out without dying, an annoyance only rivalled by the lives system with no save points or even passwords! That is soo early 1990's dude... and there was a good reason why they stopped doing that in games... people having to play until they finished no amtter how long it took, throwing joypads accross the room and I've even heard stories of people physically throwing themselves downstairs because they just wasted their time and have to start over! >.> it's just evil... period... the idea is good but this is more of a choir then a fun game and that totally eliminates the point...

I think you got tutorial mixed up with portfolio, I think there was twice as much of your finished drawings compared to actual tips. You show promise though and this place needs more tutorials on the subject because most of the current ones are shit...

As a general rule I hate people who kisses newgrounds ass but the bigger concern here is you made this in the most lazy way possible... dragging cast member script!

Something like this should really be made in a similar way to games like 'Dress my Babe V' only minus the sexually frustrated fanservice. It would be far easier to control for the user if they just had to click on colour boxes or rgb slide bars (google rgb if you don't know what that means) and it would look better. Of course that means more coding for you but that's usually how game coding goes... the easier it is to use for people at the end the harder the guy who made it had to work first >.>

Got into a stalemate so I aimed for 5000000 and considered that as completing the game, although it turned pointless a while before that. Excellent action and style here although the bosses in that office tick me off because unless you're getting insain profits they complain, still I guess that's realistic really ^^; excellent actionscripting keep up the good work

good start... but not good enough

A nice basis for something better here because there's too much wrong with it, no limiter on the shooting speed, no limiter on the sound effects when you press buttons and worst of all the tree collition detection is fucked. You're only 100% safe if you land on the middle of a tree which makes the long distance jump about 3 jumps into the game frustrating and near impossible...

[Gun Tutorial]

alright I suppose...

You certainly have a love for guns it seems... but that's good because usually with tutorials like this you need someone who loves the subject to do it properly.

The only problem is you love the guns more then you love your flash animation it seems, because you breeze through most of it except the frame by frame of how to do a realistic shot! Barely even touching the most difficult part... tracing over a gun picture in flash and making it look semi realistic to begin with! For me personally this was the only reason I wanted to watch it and I learnt more from right clicking and zooming in on the guns! An average tutorial at best...

I don't think I've seen a parody tutorial before! This is so true it's hilarious! Anyone who doesn't know how to change the colour of the preloader shouldn't be allowed to submit movies period! it's basic knowledge ffs... XD
