Top 50 newgrounds reviewer, I'm a 'Shadow Artist' ex hardcore gamer English Wiseass, who has been mistaken for Yahtzee Croshaw and AVGN . I've done some newbish reviews in the past, but these days I mostly do less reviews of higher quality =P

"What exactly was removed for newgrounds?"
I've been wanting to see this project from the day it was announced completed. Either you dropped entire shots or you can still very much tell it's independant animators breaking new grounds (pun not intended) rather then industry pros, as some of the REALLY tricky shots like unscrewing her arms were completly avoided and also some strange shots where characters would be interacting but only one would be in shot, but I'm sure the majority of other newgrounds animators would have done the same.
The only thing I felt that really detracted from the movie however was something about the characters felt under developed compared ot Lucy, it's hard for me to explain, I guess it's more about their looks rather then their backstorys which were all solid.
Author's Response:
Yes, she is underdeveloped. Alot of the characters are. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. The story is also underdeveloped. Oh well. Moving on.

Rookie flash makers take note, this is how you make a parody of someone else without looking like an asshole. I'm guessing you came up with the voices first then everything just flowed from there, awesomeness.
Author's Response:
Not really, I wrote an outline in a couple of minutes and improvised a little bit.

This was the epitome of video game in joke humour. animation was reasonable enough, I got a chuckle out of it, but people who've never played the game before will barely follow what's going on xP
Author's Response:
Exactly. Thanks for your input though.

"and the award for first tribute goes to"
This guy! Really simple setup but does the job, would have been nice to have had more music to choose from or something, but I'm sure one of the other tributes will cover that.
Author's Response:
Sorry, but with copyright laws and all that, you can't just "ADD" MJ music into flash uploaded to NG. I know what you mean though.

"For better or worse... awesome refuses to die Dx"
I don't even need to look at the reviews and I know at least 1 fanboy thinks this was made by egorator, such is the state of the whole 'AWESOME' movie themes right now.
The awesome movies are being done to death, but this is one of the better movies I've seen, finding the humour behind parts of the subject matter is what made this series so popular in the first place. You wanted critique so you will get it and apart from jumping on the awesome bandwagon, the main flaw with this movie was easily the sound, learn some better sound editing especially how to use noise reduction for next time x.x
Author's Response:
Actually, I've read every review so far, and not a one thought I was him, rather either praised it for being an awesome-sauced movie that's NOT by Ego, or disagreeing with it being in the awesome-sauced sub-genre altogether.
In hind-sight, I should've detached it from the bandwagon, but at the same time, it got my second submission I've ever made into a collection that has made it easier to view for people who are just casually browsing the site.
Awesome-or-not, this flash was a good exercise, and gaining inspiration from the simplistic animating style of the VERY FIRST Metal Gear Awesome, I deemed the Awesome-genre to be a good test for my animating skills, as it wouldn't be too demanding, but it would be loose enough that I didn't have to follow a strict formula like the Madness series or something with limited artistic angles.
If the previous reviews are any indication, I think that was a good call. :)
Sound has been duely noted time and again, and I'm thankful for the reviews here that have brought that to my attention. I shant make the same mistake again! Thanks so much for the good review, man!

"why didn't anyone think of this before?!"
Quite possibly the best excuse to use "you are a pirate" ever, I could be all critical about the drawing but I won't since this was just made mostly for the lawls. The only thing I will say is it needed more pirated software examples for extra lolz.
Author's Response:
it's for educational value. no one on newgrounds makes flash animation for others to learn from. that is where the idea came from. learning is success

"*insert generic 4chan fanboy with aids quote here*"
All you newbs shut the hell up already, if it was stolen it wouldn't be on the frontpage would it? =P
As for the movie anything 4chan related is pretty hard to rate, personally I know about it but since they have some of the most obscure pop culture jokes ever it makes it much harder to rate based on humour, so I think I'll stick with animation quality.
All I can say in that department is that it was so so really, most of it just had no real detail to it, you could even see the join lines of cast members on long cat which ruined the effect for me D: just more attention to details is needed next time I guess. If you think I'm being harsh just compare this movie to the 4chan movies by NCH then you'll get what I mean.
Author's Response:
I agree that the graphics could be tighter. I'll try to be a bit less sloppy in future projects. NCH set a pretty high standard to maintain, though.

""Everything by Everyone" = 90% stolen work now?"
Daily 4th for a copypasta porn flash? Clearly it's been a slow day, I've seen flash 'artists' use google to copy a crap load of porn images before since the people who voted highest for this either can't use google or are too lazy to, but this is the first time I've seen someone actually get a pat on the back award for it when the quality is no different from any of the others I've seen.
There's not much else to be say that the more flamer like posts haven't already commented on except that any award for this goes against almost everything newgrounds stands for. The community just provided proof it will quite often fall for gimmicks over quality of a movie hook line and sinker, good job guys! Feel free to downvote this review too to further prove my point.
Author's Response:
You heard what the man said, downvote away!

You're asking for positive reviews when there's very little to comment on. When you strip away what's basically some guy recycling the old "let's make them have sex! Hilarious! YEAH I'M A Genius!!" bit.
This is just another badly drawn flamebait for the hell of it and no point behind it flash movie by someone trying to be a rebel, who should be growing out of this stuff by now unless you lied about your age.
Hey whatever floats your boat I guess, you arn't the first and I'm sure you won't be the last.

I'm actually nine. Don't tell anybody though.

"This series has lost it way! D: Still funny though"
I like how posters are boasting how good they are at the game when this series was always about poking fun at everything BAD about rpgs.
Wow... did I just see like... the first Myst reference in a flash movie ever? Awesome... hey wait a second this whole episode is random references! While I agree it's pretty funny it's not really what the series was ever about. A nice deviation episode perhaps, but I hope for your sake it's not what you are ending the series on.
Author's Response:
I like to mix old school into my films, but your right. It was hard to establish any real story in the film without adding to the length.
